Piecing The Blocks

Using the triangles of both background and medium/dark fabrics, piece 144 half-square triangles.

Press the seam allowances towards the darker fabric.

Once you have them pressed, trim them down so that they measure 2-1/4" edge to edge. (I had you cut them slightly larger than they needed to be so that you'd be able to trim them down.)

When you're finished you half-square triangles should look like the one shown.
